  1. Soak fish in salty water for 15 minutes, then drain it.
  2. Heat oil in non stick kadai, shallow fry fish on both sides till done. Take it out.
  3. In same oil saute kalonji and fenugreak seeds.
  4. Saute garlic paste for few seconds.
  5. Now add chopped tomatoes, all spices and salt.
  6. As 1/4 cup water and cook till tomatoes soften and masala cooked.
  7. Simmer for about 5 minute till oils comes on surface.
  8. Add khatai and mix well.
  9. Add fried fish pieces and some water,cover the lid and simmer for 10 minutes.
  10. When all water absorbed, switch off the flame and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
